On May 13th, 2024, the Coordination & Planning Meeting for the BURO Bangladesh Water Credit Adoption (WCAD) Project was convened at the CCDA Head Office. The meeting was presided over by Officer (Program) Mr. S Z M Shahriar and Trainer (WaSH) Mr. Md. Ashraful Islam, both representing BURO Bangladesh.

Honorable Executive Director Mr. Md. Abdus Samad, Deputy Executive Director Mr. Mohammad Luthfur Rahman, Director (Microfinance) Mrs. Susmita Sayeeda Labonnya, Deputy Director (Accounts & Finance, IT, MIS & Monitoring) Mr. Mohammad Ali and other high officials attended the meeting.

The meeting served as a platform for strategic discussions, planning, and coordination related to the WCAD Project. Participants deliberated on key aspects, ensuring alignment with project goals and organizational objectives.

Since October 2023, CCDA has been actively implementing the Water Credit Adoption (WCAD) Project in collaboration with BURO Bangladesh. The Project is currently being executed across 20 branches in Narayanganj, Narsingdi, Kishoreganj, Gazipur, and Cumilla district. Our dedicated team of loan officers actively promotes project awareness using flip charts, stickers, posters, and leaflets provided by BURO Bangladesh.

We take pride in our contribution to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG-6) through these vital initiatives.
