Today, we honor **Begum Rokeya Sakhawat Hossain**, a trailblazer for women's rights, education, and social reform in South Asia. A visionary, Begum Rokeya (1880–1932) defied societal norms to advocate for gender equality and established schools for girls at a time when their education was widely discouraged.  

Her legacy reminds us that empowering women is essential to creating a more just and equitable world. At the Centre for Community Development Assistance (CCDA), we draw inspiration from her work as we strive to uplift communities through education, inclusion, and sustainable development.
