Strengthened and Informative Migration System (SIMS) - Phase II

Center for Community Development Assistance (CCDA) has been implementing the Strengthened and Informative Migration System (SIMS) - Phase II project since April 2024. This initiative is currently active in six upazilas of Chandpur district, namely Faridganj, Shahrasti, Hajiganj, Matlab Dakshin, Matlab North, and Chandpur Sadar.

The project is scheduled to run from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2028. Its primary goal is to educate prospective migrant workers (men and women) and the families of current migrants about the economic benefits and potential risks of labor migration. Additionally, the project aims to enhance access to public and private services, ensure safer migration practices, and promote institutional support for migrant workers and their families.
